Raised in Brooklyn, NY Joshua Pyram (J. Savant) is a soulful singer songwriter of Haitian-Dominican descent. Most notably known as the lead vocalist of Stevie Wonder’s Cabaret Tribute: A Place in the Sun, and as the official Mascot of MTV’s Wild N’ Out.
“Look.. I’ve been working on my sound for a real long time, and I went through a period where I honestly wasn’t sure about the music I heard in my head. I’m extremely happy I’m able to share my music at this point in my journey.
Jazz, Soca, Soul, RnB, Pop? Idk.. It’s a bit of all of that so I can’t really say what my sound is exactly. I’m from Flatbush, and we got good vibes coming in from all over the world! So this is just how I was raised.”
