J-Walk

Jamal "J-Walk" Walker was born July 14, 1986 in Chicago, IL. He made several transitions from Chicago to Texarkana, AR before making Texarkana his permanent residence. During that time he developed a strong interest in music. At the age of 15, he dropped his first mix-tape entitled "Get It How You Live" ,which was a blend of his Midwest Chicago style. Also J-Walk's new Southern home style. He has dropped several other mix-tapes over the years including his recent project "Dope Boi English vol 1" hosted by BMF Swishgang artist Calico Jonez. "Dope Boi English featured a track titled "Feeling So Gangsta", which was produced by Knucklehead (August Alsina producer) and was locally successful and appeared on Livemixtapes.com Spinrilla.com & datpiff.com. In 2008, he was co-signed by Calico Jonez of BMF SWISHGANG and since then has opened for numerous artist such as Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, Webbie, B-Will and Lil' Boosie.
