Jay Dinero

Born Jalen J. McCreary, Jay Dinero is an independent HipHop artist representing the DMV area. While he was born in Washington D.C, he would spend his early years living & visiting family between DC and PG county Maryland. Being backed by a strong family structure, he quickly gained the confidence to pursue his dream of making music. Growing up with a grandfather and mother who were widely known for their amazing singing as well as family members on his fathers side known for outstanding musician talents jay was next in-line to prove his abilities. Started writing his own songs at age 7, Opting to go the same route as his older cousins he started recording his raps as a young teen. He would often lend his talents to others, making music in a group(SMG) and doing songs with his cousins. Jay would eventually decide to strike out on his own and make a name for himself. Being heavily influenced by artist such as Meek Mill, J. Cole, JayZ etc. he would focus his talents on detailing the reality of the world he grew up in. Most notably in his single “No Love” where he speaks from the perspective of losing a close friend that was more like a brother. In his first project, “Bury Me A Legend”, He touched on many different topics from a developing romance to staying motivated and chasing his dreams. Already garnishing well deserved attention, he has proven himself to be one of the next big stars of his generation. The future is looking bright and he is destined to leave behind a legacy that will make his supporters proud.
