If dedication, talent and resilience was a person it would be Jazo F. Jasmin Lawrence also known as Jazo F is a force to be reckoned with; coming from “grimey” New York she embodies the true definition of being Dope! Capricorn born in Far Rockaway, Queens and raised in Elmont, Long Island she began her writing journey in middle school which started out as poems. As time went on and the more Jazo matured, the more she became interested in writing music for others. With the strong resilience background that Jazo inherited from her mother, she began to pursue her music dream. From her melodic tone to her candid lyrics, her music resonated with her listeners emotionally.  Since the pandemic of 2020, Jazo F became an unsigned independent artist and has been taking big strides in her career ever since. She has met and performed for Roc Nation, Atlantic Records, DJ Envy, Dj Self (who has played her third single ‘Jabbin’ on Power105.1fm in March of 2021 ) among others. ‘War’ and ‘We Movin’ are the first two videos she released since her independent return in the summer of 2020, which can currently be found on YouTube as well.  She currently has 60,000+ streams on digital media platforms and continuing to gain more exposure. “Focus on me and I love it,” is one of her favorite quotes from her latest hit single DOLO; and that’s exactly what she’s doing. From ‘DOLO’ reaching 18,000+ digital media streams in one month, to the official music video in the process of being on national television, she is geared up to take over the music scene. Jazo has a new single released called "UNO" and "Real Ones” releasing at Midnight on August 23, 2024.
