Jenai Annette

Jenai Annette is a singer, songwriter, and producer who uses her music as a powerful tool for healing and connection. A survivor of schizophrenia, she began creating music to mend her mind and now shares her journey through her art. By writing, singing, and producing her own tracks, Jenai aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health and inspire others to embrace themselves and each other with love, no matter the obstacles. Her album, The Beauty in Crazy, walks listeners through the various stages of her journey through schizophrenia. Part 1, Vulnerability, delves into the insecurities about herself and her mental health, which can only be overcome by embracing vulnerability. Part 2, Relentless Hope and Faith, explores her delusional pursuit of what she saw in her hallucinations. Finally, Part 3, Love, celebrates her growth in self-love, God's love, and her love for others. Through her music, Jenai invites listeners into a world of authenticity, hope, and transformation. The album was recorded and mastered at The Coda Room in Chicago.
