Since the womb, James found love with almost every genre of music, but the one that struck him the most was Hip Hop/Rap. His list of favorite artists growing up included Kendrick Lamar, Denzel Curry, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, and Travis Scott. Respectively, James praises Kendrick the most. He states that Lamar was like a mentor and made a huge impact in his life with albums like “To Pimp A Butterfly” and “good kid, m.A.A.d city.”
