John Anthony Pollard

John Anthony Pollard was born October 28, 1975. He is the third son of Reverend and Mrs. James A. Pollard Sr. John attended school in the Lower Merion School District where he excelled in music and sports. In 1993 he graduated from Lower Merion High School and was the recipient of a music and wrestling scholarship to Howard University in Washington Dc. As a music education major performing in the bands and choirs at Howard University, he had the opportunity to travel locally and internationally. Performances include but are not limited to vocal and instrumental performances at The Kennedy Center, The White House, and countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Carribean. John graduated with a Bachelor of Music Ed. in 1998, and received a Master of Music Ed. in 2003, both from Howard University. John is a music educator as well as a music producer and has had two projects nominated for Grammy music awards. Outside of his music endeavors he loves nature and is an avid gardener and equestrian.
