Johnny Vega

Johnny Vega is a sportswriter, songwriter, hip hop recording artist, filmmaker, and community activist from New Brunswick, NJ. Johnny Vega has made a name for himself as an independent artist, working with several hip hop legends, and Grammy Award-winning artist's, and producers as well. Johnny Vega was nominated for the "Essence Of Hip Hop" UMA Award in 2014, and again in 2015 at The Underground Music Awards annual ceremony at B.B. Kings, in Time Square NYC. In 2016, Johnny Vega was nominated for the All Star Mixtape Award's "Best Unsigned Male Artist of the Year" Award. Vega is scheduled to release several new projects with Lo$ Vegaz Records in 2023 along with a new documentary.
