Juan

Juan was born in San Diego, California. At the age of 1, his family relocated to Arizona where they bounced back and forth from Tucson and Phoenix. He spent most of his childhood in Phoenix, then moved to Tucson in his early teens. Juan first realized his love for music at the age of 5 while at a family get together where he saw his dad and brother singing corridos while under the influence. Juan was also under the influence of hip-hop at this age, and his love for music continued to grow as he hung out more with his older brother. At the age of 7, he began to write his own songs without really knowing how to structure them just yet. His father later showed him how it was done after a brief discussion about what he wanted to be when he grew up. Juan then moved around and met some friends who had the same passion and love for music as he did. He would record his first rap in an apartment closet, and continue to record while bouncing from closet to closet. He soon realized (after calling studios and seeing how much they were charging an hour), that the way to build an empire without waiting for anyone else was to be self-sufficient through practicing every angle of his craft.
