JVHCK

JVHCK is a Laos/Canadian hip-hop artist from the GTA. Originaly discovering an outlet in writing at the age of 12, he has always found strength in his words. Throughout his teen years, JVHCK struggled to find his place in this world due to a tumultuous upbringing, leading to struggles with drug addiction and mental health issues. But music was always there to pull him out of the darkness. Now 24, JVHCK's focus leans more on family, and creating a better life for the ones he loves. His debut single titled "5-5" focusses on his day t day life, and the sacrifices he is willing to make for his family, and for his passion. Working 5AM to 5PM by day, and writing, recording, and being featured as a special guest performer at numerous underground events in the GTA by night, JVHCK inspires others to break the mold of their mundane 9-5 routine to pursue passions at all costs.
