Kane Black

Kane Black is an emerging independent Toronto artist whose name will be synonymous with the next generation of conscious rap and hiphop in the 6ix. 
 Kane’s been persevering, first with his breakthrough mixtape The BlackOut (2014), followed by CYBERSOUNDS (2015), No Mixing For a Master (2016), KOBANE (2018) and JUST BECAUSE (2019). Through self promotion and community organizing, he’s spearheaded and established numerous artist showcases across the city, headlining at some of Toronto’s popular venues, including The Central, Coalition: T.O., The Smiling Buddha and Adelaide Hall. 
 Kane Black is currently embarking on his latest project, upcoming EP Series, "JUST BECAUSE" which gives the listener an in depth look into the type of music that Kane likes to create and listen too. Different sounds, feelings & genres “Just Because” he can. These releases are coming off his debut release "KOBANE" which spoke on his personal experience with Mental Health/Depression. This next Installation will be Kane taking a step back and just flexing his lyrical abilities, Just... Because He Can!
