KendrickCreates is a self-proclaimed multi-modal artist whose primary focus has been the development of fellow artists as a music producer and educator. A decorated classical pianist in his youth, Kendrick Kirk was born into a family of musicians, most notably his paternal grandfather, country and bluegrass pioneer and radio personality "Red" Kirk. By his late teens, he had performed on stages across the southeast United States, culminating in winning the Southeast Composers Conference with the women's choir work "Only a Kiss Will Do" from his larger, William Blake inspired collection, "The Songs of Innocence." He attended Berklee College of Music where he began his study of jazz and contemporary theory, eventually graduating Cum Laude. In graduate school, he released the follow-up to his privately released self-titled EP, "White|Black," which critics hailed as "hip elevator music." The quirky, synth driven "The Scarab" would go on to receive the most attention having seen substantial airplay in the early days of internet radio in overseas markets, particularly the Middle East. In 2019, he doubled down his efforts to help launch promising artists across many genres such as the Las Vegas based Bolivian Trap/Metal rapper Thiq Riq and El Metro to young singer/songwriter Rylen Henderson. Since his relocation to Nashville, Tennessee, he has an admitted rekindled affinity for country music and expects to be writing with and producing more country artists in the coming years.
