KGoLive is a rising star in the DMV music landscape. Whether it be thumping 808s, dulcet melodies, or poignant bars, KGoLive is a maverick in the booth. And his peers are taking notice. With placements ranging from Q Da Fool to Swiezo, KGoLive’s musicality is clear. The Maryland-based artist grew up listening to the classics: Bob Marley, Chuck Brown, and Snoop Dogg, among others. KGoLive’s passion for music has only intensified in the years since, spending long hours perfecting his beats at Blueprint Studios. He’s a part of OTR and RIXHGOONS, two groups looking to bring authenticity back into the music scene. He raps; he sings hooks; he crafts and mixes beats. And that hard work has paid off. KGoLive thrust himself into DMV lore with Xanman’s “Be Like That,” a piano-laced tune that attracted serious attention in the region. Since then, KGoLive has seen continued growth, dropping “VERY COOL FRIDAY!”, a collection of tracks he has released over the course of 2020. With “INDUETIME” set to release on Halloween, one thing is clear: KGoLive is ready to break out — and take his beloved DMV with him.
