King T3Z also known as Jocqui Martez Wardell was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois on April 19th, 1995. King T3Z has a deeper meaning to the artist. King stands for kindred, intelligent, nostalgic genius. T3Z derives from his middle name, Martez. His love for music grew from being around his father and uncles who are heavily involved in music. J Cole, The Game, and Meek Mill influence T3Z’s style as but still finding his own way as a rapper. Even though he considers himself an old soul and respects the ones who paved the way for the rap scene, he also relates to the new wave and trend of music. Interested in any music that sounds good, but enjoys lyricism, story telling, and substance. His future goals are to make an impact on the music industry and leave an everlasting imprint. King T3Z wants to be known as one of the best to make thought provoking music and great bodies of work. He wants to create music that is timeless that allows listeners to travel through their memories.
