King V

Vincent Lukes (born April 20, 2003), popularly known as King V, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Romeoville, IL. In 2015, King V began pursuing a career in music. He dropped numerous projects and singles on the audio distribution platform SoundCloud. As a result of his consistency and growth over the course of three years, Vincent's musical efforts had garnered a lot of attention. This would assist in his taking his career to the next level through the expansion to multiple streaming services that same year. In 2020, King V released his first successful project, *The Come Up*. Upon the project's release, Vincent would receive a positive review and cosign from Atlanta record producer Richie Souf, who rated the project an "8 out of 10." The project was home to two of King V's most well-received songs at the time. The first of which was the project's lead single (and its most popular song), "Price," which was released on April 20, 2020, after both its audio and cover art was teased on his Instagram a month prior. The second of which was "Use Me," a more unexpected-yet-welcomed vibe about a woman who desires nothing but the fruits of King V's labor. At the moment, King V is currently in the process of preparing and recording material for his second project of the year, Cold Times, which is slated for release in December.
