My name is Chigozirim Njoku, but you can call me Chigo, or as my stage name (KingChigo) Well my story, where can I start? Well, I’m a Nigerian, 20 years of age, and a Saskatchewan boy, currently living in Canada and came from Nigeria. I’m a man of God, but with things that happened in my life, my relationship has been up and down, but I know we all can relate to that for those who follow God, Christ, or their own religion and beliefs, I just know we all know there’s someone who’s behind doors who truly controlling and is the reason of our existence. So, this is me: I am a kid who knew at a young age, finer things in life is what I loved. I am a optimistic, fun, different kinda guy and I think I show that through my music as well. When growing up schooling wasn’t easier, from English to mathematics to science. I hate it all, but with my school life being bad enough, social live was pleasant as well. From being bullied, being teased, manipulated, life was hell. I have my fair shares of heaven and hell within this life, and with my music and main reason that drives me to be the best, is to be accepted. And as crazy that seems, yes I have family and all, but I know what being bullied physically, emotionally, verbally, and cyber does to a young child soul cuz I was and is a victim of that space of negativity of life. I would run to make friends and be accepted, I would run run to the light but yet always found myself in the dark. No one believed in me in my childhood or teen-hood, now I’m in my adulthood, 20 years of age, and I ask you all to give me a chance, give me a listen, and help me achieve my goal of being on stage, being accepted, I want to feel and know love. Cuz a mother’s love is pure and true and amazing, but when others truly see you for your work and gifts, who give you honest opinion that make or break you, that is what I need. I need your help, I need the truth, and I need the chance, the chance to feel what I’ve never felt, I want the chance to finally see the light of day, and escape from the dark. And I assure you, you help me make this dream come true, I will truly bless everyone who helped me achieve my goal and wishes.
