Kimel Larceny aka KL born as Ronny Kimel Threadgill in Linden, New Jersey. KL is an up and coming American hip-hop recording artist and songwriter. The New Jersey native was raised most of his young life in Linden where he attended elementary through middle school. During his high school years, he attended Abraham Clark in Roselle, NJ. During KL younger years, he found himself in and out of trouble. It wasn’t until his 11th grade year that he decided to write poems which eventually turned into songwriting. Even though it only was a hobby it became very much his goal and passion to become one of the best hip hop artists of all time. KL started spending a lot of time in the studio making hits and proving everyone that ever doubted him wrong. His motivation comes from his number one fan Jorden, his son. After a few years of working with other artists, KL felt it would be better to go his separate way. While looking for a team and label to build with, it wasn’t until early 2020 when KL ran into Sloppy Vinyl. With songs being ready for release, such as She Bad, Vibe and RTN, it left Sloppy Vinyl impressed & left them no choice but to pick up KL. Ever since, KL has been driven and has been working as hard as ever. There is no doubt that KL is showing growth as an artist. To prove that, he released his new single "Vibes" which is a step away from your typical hip hop record. This song gained popularity in Atlanta during September 2019 at Atlantis night club in Atlanta, GA when a DJ took a chance and played it during a busy friday night! If there’s one word to describe KL it would be versatile. Since then, KL has been working to release several more songs. One song in particular "The Best" which is definitely a song to look out for, in a short period of time gained some heavy attention. Only time can tell what the future holds for KL. As a single father, being totally dedicated to his son, and working full time this artist yet still finds the time to commit to his passion which is song writing and performing.
