Komplex crafts dark, heavy music out of obligation. An obligation to tell stories of pain, heartbreak, and division throughout the world. He isn't afraid to tell his story, address controversial topics, and choosing to share messages that are often ignored and calling attention to the orchestrated corruntion and division of humankind. The Tennessee native's artist name is derived from the complexity and depth of the music industry and is an ode to the confusing nature of the globe's evolving culture. Inspired by household hip hop artists including Eminem, Tupac, and Kendrick Lamar, Komplex's music pursuits date back to middle school, when he took an audio engineering class. in high school, he began writing and recording his own tracks. During this phase, Komplex developed his own unique style, which he continually explores with each song. While he writes all of his own lyrics, Komplex also collaborates with his best friends, Zeke Yarbro and Blaine Pittman, to produce and record. Komplex's latest single, "Armageddon" showcases creative lyricism and depth with an airy sound and driving beat akin to a bell.
