Kwest Anderson and his love affair with hip hop dates back to the early 80s. Being from the Bronx, NY the sound and culture was apart of what raised him as a young child being introduced to a art form that was just as young as he was. Growing with this music led to his grooming and mentoring from industry legends such as Break Beat Lou, TR Love of the legendary Ultra Magnetic MCs and Hip Hop royalty Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs. In the late 90s, in 1998, Kwest embarked on his musical career and enjoyed some success thru the early to mid 2000s. In 2009, he set out to form Big Kidz Music Group, an indie label with a reputation for developing top tier artists. It’s no wonder today, playing for a team he owns & returning to the booth is a much anticipated journey. Currently, Kwest is enjoying new found success with multiple successful releases from the previously released “Receipts” produced by Break Beat Lou to the new post quarantined anthem “Back Outside” ft. His protege and franchise artist, Kia Leiani. It’s rewarding watching this artist reinvent, reintroduce and re-establish himself back into the hip hop arena!
