Kyrah Ayers

I'm a Song writer, Spoken word artist, contracted event host, marathon runner, husband, father, entrepreneur, cancer survivor, left-handed, fraternal twin. In 2008 I started a music lyric writing company called ProfeticLyrics to promote the importance of lyrical content in music. I write songs of victory. In August of that year, I founded a Spoken word poetry show that has grown to become the longest running and largest poetry show in Solano County. In 2009 I released my first album including R&B, Hip-Hop and Spoken word. In 2010 I started a band that performed ProfeticLyrics music around the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2012 I released a Hip-Hop mixtape called "This Is My Prayer". In 2013, I married my better half, put music to the side, and built a beautiful family. By 2018 we opened up Queen Hippie Gypsy, Oakland's first black-owned crystal botanica. In 2020, I left my stable government job of 15 years to support the business. Then COVID... In 2023, I released my first poetry book, "My Light" Before being able to fully promote it...my life changed. Later that year, I was diagnosed with appendix cancer. Through 12 Rounds of chemotherapy, I wrote 12 optimistic poems that inspired me to keep fighting through the process. The book, "12 Rounds" is available now on all major platforms. In 2025, I had another health challenge in which I was hospitalized for over a month. During which, I was inspired to write this series of inspirational songs to be pitched for use in movies and tv shows. Thank you for taking the time to listen and for gravitating towards the light.
