About

LAAHLO is a self-produced LGBTQ+ singer, songwriter, producer from Dallas, TX. Growing up in a mexican american houshold he was exposed to many different styles of music such as mariachi, cumbia, tejano, disco and r&b. He started performing mariachi music at the early age of 10 with his little sister at local talent shows. As a duo, they later made it to larger stages opening for many well known artists and started to make a local name for themselves. LAAHLO eventually went solo under the name Tony G and started producing his own music and writing his own songs and won two indie music awards for his debut solo album "Call Me Tony G" in 2014. Since his stage name "Tony G" was so common, it kept getting mixed up with other artists music on Apple Music and Spotify, so he went back to the drawing board and brainstormed a new stage name. In 2019, he made the decision to change his stage name from Tony G to LAAHLO. His first release as LAAHLO was "Nadie Se Va A Enterar" with super producer Daneon (Maluma, Karol G, Marc Anthony) and later collaborated with German producers on "Lighting" which was noticed by Insomniac Records. The song was sitting on the shelf for 18 months, but once the agreement ended, they parted ways and the song was picked up by Goldfire Records and released. The pandemic halted quite a bit of plans for his releases, but he returned with his single "Low for Me" in 2023 which is still in rotation in the Dallas bar scene. In 2024, he started getting traction in Spain for his song "Baila (J'adore)" which was released in 2014 under his old stage name.
