About

Recording Artist, Songwriter, Music Producer, Graphic Designer and Painter, Lester London has journeyed far in search of a more meaningful way of life and faith. Born Lester Bridges Jr. in North Philadelphia, PA at Temple Hospital. His rich potential talent and love for music began at a young age. At age 11 he began teaching himself the piano, then wrote, produced, and engineered his first track “One Day” (with vocals by his mother on the chorus), and his innate love for music has been developing ever since. Lester “lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps” his art. Before getting on the ball with his solo career, he tended to his own artists. But In May 2009, the sudden death of his father and manager gave the aspiring artist an underlying obligation to succeed in his solo artist career to sustain his father’s legacy. In 2011-2017, He was signed by Grammy-Award winning music producer Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis, which gave him knowledge and a substantial amount of experience. Inspired by Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Kanye West, George Condo, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Lester has recognized that they are all initially respected for their uniqueness, boldness, natural talent, and die-hard work ethic. Putting in the hard yards himself, he’s been performing since a child. Lester has performed at countless talent shows like Showtime At The Apollo and has opened for recording artists like Jadakiss for several dates on his Top 5 DOA tour, Too Short, Consequence, Kendrick Lamar, and viral Brass-House band Too Many Zooz. Lester has also performed at showcases and music festivals; being selected for A3C three times, Foot Locker's "Homegrown" showcase in Philadelphia and BET’s Music Matters. He has also performed and spoken to students at the prestigious Penn State University, Hudson County College, and Rutgers University; Even headlining his own curated shows and his own art exhibits. He continues to work unremittingly to cultivate and grow his fan-base. Lester's music has been used in Hulu series "Future Man" & 2018 movie entitled "Life, Love, Soul" which has aired on BET several nights. He's also been featured on one of Ebro Darden's 2016 playlists on Apple Music, in addition to features on other publications such as Hot97.com, The Source.com, HipHopDX and trending on Audiomack several times. He is an undeniably capable lyricist with a passion and respect for Hip Hop culture. He seems to harness them effortlessly in his lyrics, which are thoughtful, vulnerable, and speak to real life situations – with just a hint of playfulness. He personifies his brand as being the epitome of a striving millennial chasing his passion and dream, all while “bridging the gap between expensive taste and a humble place”. Today, Lester is producing albums for artists, planning new releases for himself, and continues to create tirelessly; with hopes of not only being one of the world’s greatest creators, but a public figure and inspiration to artists of all kinds.
