GZY(Marcus Grant) came up freestyling with his friends off of a iPhone 7 in 2019. Marcus was born in Camden, New Jersey but didn't relocate to Katy, Texas until he was 10. He found his real passion for music his junior year in highschool , and thrived on it. Him and the "PLAYBOIS" would skip class and meet up just to chill and freestyle. He would record them on a IPhone and post the best ones on Soundcloud and share them with friends. A song they released called "12" blew up and ever since then Marcus capitalized on his craft and is now a Public Figure in Katy. GZY's "99 OVERALL" took flight quick. His music gets distributed to all streaming platforms, meaning you can listen prety much anywhere at anytime. Marcus is very good at what he does Hopping on beats and destroying them with sick and stylish bars that other peers and adults can relate to. Being a Athlete and a man of his word, Marcus has a good group of friends and team members that's willing to support him. The artist broke his silence with a brand new studio release, Lone Wolf.
