Linus Streckfus is an American musician and singer-songwriter living in Austin, Texas.
He is co-producer and primary artist on summer 2025 artist-released singles Golden Thread and Avenue Of Fire.
Linus will be playing at Knomad bar in Austin on Saturday, August 30th.
Linus began performing original music in the 90s Austin punk band Glorium. After Glorium he studied theater and film for a time in Chicago and New York, returning to Austin in 2008. He continues to write, record and perform as a solo artist.
Linus is also a psychotherapist licensed in Texas, bridging music, wellness and mental health communities.
“My songwriting is inspired by life, dreams, and relationships. I write lately on a Spanish guitar. Nostalgia, wonderment and sadness have been big lately.
