Born and raised in the San Francisco projects, little studied musical theatre at the illustrious Ruth Aswa School of the Arts where her natural talent quickly set her apart from her peers. Late nights spent with headphones plugged into a keyboard laid the groundwork for little’s eventual career as a musician and songwriter. littleFVR met producer Jerry Rescue!!! when they were students at the University of Rochester and he encouraged little to start recording her own music. little’s college years were spent singing acapella, studying art history, navigating homelessness, and the unexpected addition of a daughter with Autism, to her complicated world. Currently, little resides in Los Angeles, CA with her beautiful daughter where they share a colorful life together. Most recently little has released her first EP nobody’s favorite. A collage of sound, this debut project’s emotionality and intimacy are an invitation to read a secret diary. little love of soul music, folk, and choral arrangements are apparent in the collage of shimmering vocals, clean beats, and sage sadness. little’s honeyed voice and the EP’s orchestral fullness are sure to resonate with lovers of Soul, Hip-Hop, and RnB. little continues to refine and explore her ethereally nostalgic sound, and continuing to craft more music to come. little’s raw expression offers a new interpretation of classic soul music.
