Lucas Kennedy

Transgender 20 year old Lucas Kennedy is a singer songwriter from Canada Nova Scotia. Six studio albums, twelve singles and two EP’s Lucas has brought his fans a great new taste in music! Growing up and from such a small province it’s never a dull moment for Lucas when it comes to writing music. dancing and singing since the age of four you’ll never catch Lucas out of the studio. Born November 26th 2003 his father from Barbados and his mother from Nova Scotia. From a family of eight having two brothers and three sisters Lucas being the oldest Lucas was always the musical one writing music and dancing. At the start of 2020 Lucas found it difficult to write music being in the middle with the COVID-19 Pandemic Lucas found a way. Releasing Dream on SoundCloud and Audiomack only for days later to release Dance With Me. Debuting For You on major platforms following more singles like Equal,Sights,Neon,Young & Free, Your Nobody, Believe, Ridin,Love+Monster and It Ain’t As Bad As What I Did Lucas fan base started to grow. Releasing his debut album Everything Lucas stating in an interview that “The album Everything wasn’t even supposed to be an album. It was just a way to distract me from a breakup that I was having a hard time dealing with and so I turn to music next thing I know I have an eleven track album in front of me. But I think that if I hadn’t made Everything I wouldn’t be hard at work making music everyday and wouldn’t be in a great place or position”. Days before christmas releasing 7 EP it was a different sound from Lucas and the story’s behind each song. In a past live stream Lucas stated that “7 is based off of so much. It focuses on love and mainly breakups and recovering. Releasing Born Before Born Again following the Deluxe album to a month later only to release Love Story’s right after stating it was giving him Justin Biebers Journals vibe. Releasing his second EP To The Finish Line in the early summer before taking a hiatus, releasing ALL THE TIME months later to release Love + Monster and It Ain’t As Bad As What I Did and his fifth studio album 26 it’s was a rocking era for Lucas. Surprising his fans in the fall with Lost You,Checkmate and Broken Heart along with his sixth album Different Lucas over the years has evolved his image and sound.
