VNZA— aka Vonza Watson, has been making a name in 2019. With over a dozen recent high-profile releases, and a series of music videos dropping including vlogs -VNZA & FRNDS vlog, SNOOZE, NO SLEEP and more. Over the past 2 years, VNZA has creeped into the mid-west music scene. He recently dropped several singles and EP’s over the past few years as well: “Residuals”, “Soldier” w/ J Rich, “3860 EP”, “Cavalier”, “Westview Flows”, “Sunrise” and numerous others. He earned a following going on a promo tour with New Look Entertainment at the beginning of this year, that really helped get his name out there. His artistry has gained support from many of his peers: Rolando Soul, Julian Grae, J Rich, Rocky Jay’, GREM-MOB, Landalin, Tony J, Trez, Blac Dolla, and Brandoshis. VNZA’s recent release of 3860 was solely produced by RonOG, and his recent single “Money Dance” gained wide support across the club scene being spinned by DJ POP IT OFF and DJ HOMICIDE in St. Louis. He has worked and collaborated with a wide variety of artists such as: Julian Grae, King RA, J Rich, Danny P, Free Game Records, Trez, and Yung Mane. VNZA has performed at a countless number of widely known venues, including The Rose Music Hall in Columbia, MO, The Blue Note in Columbia, MO, Big Daddy’s Landing in St. Louis, MO, Smoke Out Festival in Detroit, MI, The Bridge in Jefferson City, MO, and Ugly God & Friends festival at MIZZOU. Also, for the past 2 years, he established and ran the record Lucid Living LLC with co-founder RONOG, and developed a clothing brand “FRNDS”, to gain support of his VNZA & FRNDS vlog series. VNZA has always directed his platform to focus on the present reality with releases like “Police Freestyle” where he touches on police brutality. VNZA has a realism and calming tempo that keeps listeners engaged and plans to drop his next EP “LOCAL” early 2020.
