Luke Vega

Lucas Daniel Vega was born on March 21, 1991. He is from the Upper West side of New York, where he attended high school and some college. Lucas began writing at the age of 14. As a child who grew up in a single parent home, he always took obstacles as opportunities. Although he didn't have the resources he needed he used what he had to start writing his music. Although writing is among his favorite hobbies, he also enjoys reading, sports and working with others. His music is his outlook on life, he expresses his struggles and his achievements. His focus is to do what he deeply loves and encourage others to do so as well. Lucas has faced many struggles but has created a piece of art which he is honored to share. He explains how it stressful it can be to have so little, and his urge to better himself and help his family. He reflects on past events in his life. He explains how a man can cater to a woman in a respectful and helpful manner. Lucas tries to show how much a man care care for a woman even under difficult circumstances. These are Lucas' way of using his pain and struggles as motivation, representing his childhood and growth throughout the years to give advice to others on how to stay strong.
