The Fayetteville native M.L.J. Tha Beatmaker been putting in all the hardwork in his tenure in the music industry for nearly 10 years. M.L.J. first sparked attention online in October 2016 with Ron Grams's hit single “Southside”. His heavy hitting melodic production attracted a lot of momentum and lot of people all over the world. His music reached over 2 millions of views on YouTube and 1 million plays on SoundCloud. He became an star of his era on SoundCloud. His music helped him landed big placements of Face, Indica, Mathaius Young, Nessly, Lil Tecca and more. He was inspired by his idols Kanye West, Travis Scott, Mike Dean, Pierre Bourne, WondaGurl, Eestbound, Boi-1da and Hudson Mohawke. He worked with independent and underground artists like Max Wells, Wise, Goopdakidd, Xavier Clark, Yurmsauce, KREW$, Travis Karter, QIM and more. His music attracting the attention of industry heavyweights like Atlantic/APG, DailyChiefers, Elevator, Lyrical Lemonade, and more. He spent the next several years releasing singles, beat tapes and EPs, including his collaboration tape with Yurmsauce "Mistakes”. M.L.J.
