Malcolm Tex

Ladomminic Battles, also known as TEX, put his town on the map with the street single, “I’m From Marlin” in 2013. After going viral he capitalized by releasing “Big Dreams” in 2014 and gained a new following worldwide. In 2015 Tex temporarily signed to “Mobb City Records” based in Waco, TX but eventually went back independent until early 2020 when he inked a publishing deal with "Collective Tunes Music Group" based out of Austin, TX. Since then, he has released under the name Malcolm Tex which was a handful of singles and a new 6 track EP titled “Battles Within Me”. That EP was nominated for “Mixtape of the Year” award and the following year of 2021, Tex was again nominated for "Lyricist" and "Poet of the Year". Unfortunately, that same year he lost his sister Tinka due to covid. She's also known as his P.I.C. which led to a new 6 track EP titled "Partner in Crime". This masterpiece was released 05/30/22 on Memorial Day in remembrance of all the loved ones gone.
