Manny Maserati

Emanuel Maurice Parker, better known by his stage name Manny Maserati is an American rapper, songwriter, and investor from Jackson, Michigan 70 miles west of Detroit. Manny first got involved with music as a young kid playing the drums at church. At the age of 10 is when Manny’s interest in HipHop culture began. Mannys’ older brother who was a BIG HipHop head would play all the latest HipHop flavor, from Ron G mix tapes to Nas “Illmatic”, Mobb Deep “Infamous” Album, The Roots “DO YOU WANT MORE”, Notorious BIG “READY TO DIE” and many more Classics. Manny would steal his brothers tapes and play them in his Sony Walkman on his walk to school. Becoming a student of the art, Manny quickly learned how to craft his own rhymes for creative expression. Often compared to the rap icon NAS, Manny in fact admits that NAS, as well as Kool G rap, Raekwon, Notorious BIG, and Prodigy of Mobb Deep were his biggest influences and musical inspirations coming up. Coming up in a single parent household, father on drugs and mother with only a 3rd grade education, circumstances lead Manny down the wrong path that would eventually land him in prison at the age of 16. After serving 2.5 years, Manny was released a day after his 19th birthday. While finding work in manufacturing and morphing into a family man with a wife and 3 kids, Manny continued to write and record music with hopes of spreading it to the world. In 2019, Manny was discovered by Hot97 “Whosnext” when he submitted his song BLACK ROSE to the WHOSNEXT competition. After going to #1 and remaining there for the month of March, Manny was invited by Hot97 to perform at it’s WHOSNEXT event at the legendary SOB’s, as well as a Interview at the Hot97 station. More inspired and motivated than ever after his trip to New York, Manny returned to Michigan with a clearer vision, getting his music out to the world was a must. Manny’s debut album BLACK ROSE PROJECT was submitted for release on March 9th 2020 on his independent record label STREET ALLURE MUSIC GROUP.
