Matthew R is a vibrant and versatile vocalist hailing from Leicester, Uk. His creative writing and soulful voice match perfectly in creating those tunes for any occasion whether it be taking over the nightlife, radio or at festivals. 
 Matthew is known for his catchy hooks and has often been compared to the likes of Craig David, Usher, Chris Brown which are just some of his idols. Having the support of his father, Roy Richards, a respectful singing coach who sang with the likes of Ray Lewis ( The Drifters) and also writing with Winston Sela (Global award winning songwriter) he has the experience and knowledge to understand what it takes in becoming successful. Matthew has been stamping his mark in today's industry with having supported acts such as; Mic Lowry, Donae’O, Angie Brown and Angel to name a few and he also grabbed a slot at Tex Fest 2018 featuring Example, nick Grimshaw, The Fratellis, Tinchy Stryder & more . In August 2020, Matthew released his ‘Confessions’ EP which tells a story of relatable love & personal situations which ranked over 20,000 streams on Spotify and counting! Received praise from US TV Show ‘Power’ actor & RnB Superstar, Rotimi, and made its way to all digital stores. This also landed him a collab with legendary DJ Ironik on a new single ‘Don’t Try’ which drops September 2020 . Being no stranger to various platforms and radio stations, Matthew is on his way in getting the recognition he deserves.
