MLT KgMusiQ Music was abundant in MLT KgMusiQ’s home growing up. Only it wasn’t hip hop or R&B, but rather gospel. His dad forbade anything remotely hip hop or R&B, but as soon as MLT KgMusiQ heard Michael Jackson and later Usher and Neyo, he fell hard for their styles because they weren’t just great vocalists, but dancers as well, “That was my thing coming up. I loved dancing and singing.” As he got older, hip hop started to take shape in his life. Today, he’s a rapper and entrepreneur as the CEO of R34L Major League Trapper Entertainment, otherwise known as MLT Nation. In 2019 MLT KgMusiQ dropped a cascade of singles including “Pain & Struggle” and “Soul Survivor.” The first showcased the tale of someone going through the struggle that is life, while the latter is one of his personal favorites he’s ever penned. Another story of the struggles faced and the demons fought, he takes listeners on a journey of finding one’s inner strength. Come 2020 MLT KgMusiQ added another top-notch release to his name with his EP ‘L3V3ls.’ Featuring a handful of tracks, ‘L3V3ls’ was followed up by “Run Away,” a single from his June 2020 EP, ‘Walk Thru.’ “Run Away” is another favorite from MLT KgMusiQ. It features one of his label’s artists, MLT Ron G, and expresses who the artist is from inside out, “Sometimes I think about running away from the world, kind of getting in my own bubble and just being present with myself. That is only because I feel that something people don’t show as much love as I give, which can be frustrating.” While he feels at peace when alone, he never shies away from a performance or appearance. He’s appeared on the TV show ‘Sunday Best.’ Ironically enough, it was the father who once upon a time banned hip hop from their home who pushed him to try out for it. Other than that, MLT KgMusiQ has made a name for himself performing live throughout the Atlanta area, as in South Carolina and Florida. MLT KgMusiQ is currently looking forward to promoting his new EP, ‘Walk Thru,’ which drops June 11, 2020. He’s also planning on launching a clothing line. Those who’ve seen the “Run Away” video know what to expect as he rocks the MLT throughout. With new music and ventures on the way, MLT KgMusiQ plans on continuing to build his artistry, and label roster while creating lasting relationships with those in the industry.
