Lavar Jackson, musically known as “MoneyBoy L,” born in Pomona, Ca. Grew to love music at a very young age (6). He and his older cousins would bang on the washer machine and free style with each other until there grandmother told them to quiet down. His mother exposed him to his first favorite artist, and even still is to this day (Tupac) Gave him all the inspiration he needed from music. “MoneyBoy L” felt every emotion a human could feel listening to (Tupac’s) catalog of music. He knew then he wanted to be a musician. With his own versatile style, he makes music with whatever energy is going through him in his writing process in the studio, which turns into a multitude of different sounds carrying different messages and moods. Becoming locally known in his city (Pomona) from the clothing brand “Hansumlife” which he started along with a few close friends he gained some recognition and it seemed to be headed upward, he made a mistake and ended up serving some time. After 3 years spent in confinedment, he is back, sharper and better then EVER! Enjoy
