Montez Malone

Willie Dontavious Montez Malone (born December 17, 1999) is an American Rapper, Model, and Songwriter from Albany, Ga. He started rapping straight after his high school graduation in May of 2018. Looking up to music icons such as Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar & even some new artist such Lil Baby & Mulatto he based his artistic style and delivery off them. In 2018, he released his debut mixtape “Critically Acclaimed” on July 6, 2018. It was supported by three singles. His debut single “New Testament” with home town native "JCedric”, was released on May 19, 2018, which was also his high school graduation. Montez also released two more singles “Quarterback” & “Issues” also featuring another home town native “Kirk”, which were later scrapped from all streaming platforms including the mixtape. From 2018 to 2020 , Montez took a break from music to focus on college and other ventures. It wasn’t until July of 2020 he decided to put his focus back on music. He later took another hiatus from November 2020 to May 2022 to which he came back with his first single in two years “ Wait for Me”. He later released a series of singles in support of his album “ Survivors Diary” , which dropped in October of 2022. Montez is currently slated to release his upcoming sophomore album “Mahogany Brown” this year. He’s been teasing little hints on his social media to his fans ,” The Saints”, which lets everyone knows were in for a ride. The lead Single from his sophomore album, “Trippin’”, is slated to be released April 14, 2024.
