Chris Thomaz

Chris Thomaz was born on June 4, 1999 in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 7 years (2013) of experience with recording music and producing beats, he continues to create his own versatile sounds. Thomaz also has 6 years of experience playing piano and trumpet. Through his passion of music, his most biggest inspirations are Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y. Chris even came up with his artist name by changing his middle name (Thomas) to Wiz Khalifa's last name (Thomaz) as they both have the same name but only spelled differently. Chris wrote, produced, and mixed his very first solo project in 2013, his 8th grade year. "I've never been in it for the fame or the money. Music is just what moves me .. there's never a day I go without it. I've been making music for a long time but I never actually learned the business side of it until my sophomore year of college at the University of Memphis. (2019) I've created seven solo projects in around 6 years and never got paid for none of the music til this day. I took it all down after losing faith after graduating high school because I didn't know what I wanted to study in college. I changed my major three times until I knew that UofM was offering the music industry program. So now I currently study Recording Technology, while still continuing to create new content daily. My goals for the new decade is to not only be consistent with releasing versatile music & videos, but also to create my online beat store, and to open up my very own public studio, as well as branding on ideas for dropping some of the hottest merch! I truly appreciate any and everyone who supports me. I can only thank God for how far i've came and the upcoming journey ahead of me that he has set me on to." - Chris Thomaz
