MVXtheKING

Max, known professionally as MVXtheKING (pronounced: Max the King), is an American music producer, singer/songwriter, and independent recording artist based in Rochester, NY. Max began producing beats and electronic dance music in high school, before discovering a passion for songwriting early on. He has since been publishing music for the past decade, releasing mixtapes and demos under various projects including PSYXEROX and the Yin Yang Clan. Inspired by artists such as Twenty One Pilots and Linkin Park, Max prides himself on breaking the rules of traditional genres. MVXtheKING combines the lyricism and style of hip-hop and rap with the sounds and stickiness of pop, rock, and dance music. Max is not afraid to try new and interesting concepts, with each song being different from the next. Max’s songwriting leans on the introspective side, touching topics such as mental health, gender identity, and existentialism. However, Max often writes lighthearted material as well, including party anthems, songs of love, and summer pop hits. Currently, Max does it all on his own, including the producing, marketing, graphics and writing. Inspired by other small artists that have made a big impact on him, Max strives to build connections with his music. Max is consistently improving and releasing new music, hoping to find an audience soon.
