Jonathan Miles Ferreira better known by the stage name Nathan Miles is a Canadian rapper and producer from Ottawa, Ontario. He is also CEO and founder of 4REIGN Records. Nathan’s main artistic influences include Three 6 Mafia, Kid Cudi, and Lil Wayne amongst others. His own style has been described as dark, upbeat, catchy, euphoric, “trill,” and grimey. Nathan Miles talks about his signature sound as being “rather spacey.” Growing up in Trappers Park - the environment rubbed off on his music giving it that “trap” feel. “Whether you're vibin’ out alone in your room, driving down an empty highway late at night, or getting lit with the homies at the club,” Nathan writes: “I put a lot of energy and emphasis into my music which automatically gets you moving and makes your head bob. I'm a sucker for atmospheric sounds and banging 808s. My goal is to deliver those raw, underground bangers that make your mirrors shake and cause noise complaints.” The common theme of Nathan Miles’ music include psychedelic vibes, high power, and positive energy. “I'm inspired by my past, focused on the present, and looking forward to the future” he says, referring to his fatherhood and relationship as a fiancé and father of two. Nathan has been producing music since the age of 16. Although previous to his career in music he was a professional kick boxer for over 10 years with Team Canada, traveling the globe for tournaments. When he decided to “hang up the gloves,” he took up music as his new form of self expression. “Ultimately,” he writes, “being an only child and having a family of my own now, I'm motivated by them to create a legacy. Even when I'm gone, my art will remain, my children will be able to hear my voice anytime they want, and I'll continue to live through my music. Coming from Ottawa, we have history in my city; we've had some amazing people come from here. I'm just trying to add another name to that list and make my mark.” Of course, with his tracks available on multiple streaming services and digital music stores worldwide, Nathan Miles intends to make his songs international. “I'm focused on making a splash here in my city first,” says Nathan, “but I’m also looking forward to seeing how far this ripples across the country, and hopefully the world.” Fans and friends of Nathan know him to be personally genuine & kind both on and off the stage.
