Nathan Waters is a multidisciplinary artist, recording musician, and photographer from South Central Los Angeles whose work explores the intersections of sound, image, and storytelling. His practice spans music production, voiceover, film photography, fashion styling, and public speaking, all rooted in a mission to create art that uplifts and connects communities.
A former recipient of the NFL Network Scholarship through the NFL Media Music team, Nathan completed a six-month intensive program at 1500 Sound Academy, where he studied under GRAMMY-winning mentors James Fauntleroy and Larrance Dopson. There, he refined his skills in songwriting, engineering, artist branding, and production while gaining invaluable insights from leading creatives.
Currently a Creative Career Lab Fellow with Get Lit – Words Ignite, Nathan continues to expand his expertise in creative communication, digital media, and nonprofit engagement. His work reflects a deep sense of purpose: to connect, to heal, and to represent truth through art.
When he’s not creating or mentoring within his community, Nathan can be found grounding in nature, writing morning pages, and spending time with family recharging the energy that fuels his art, community service, and storytelling.
