NicoDee

NicoDee is a San Francisco–based writer, vocalist, and producer carving out his own lane in hip hop, R&B, and pop. He began creating music in 2018 alongside producers QuakeBeatz, Kolour Kode, and Kyree developing a sharp ear for melody and emotion that quickly became central to his sound. Growing up in California with an expansive taste in music, NicoDee pulls from a wide range of influences, allowing different styles and textures that naturally weave through his catalog. In 2024, he expanded his creative reach by stepping into production under the alias Papacito, working with a diverse roster of artists—from melodic voices like Ahava Alkana to hard-hitting rappers such as Buddy Bandz. Influenced by the songwriting and sonic worlds of Mike Posner, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny, NicoDee’s music is defined by robust drums, distinctive melodies, and a versatility that sets him apart from other California artists.
