About

From school plays to the Theatre Stage. It all started in the DMV area where my love for music and acting nourished a dream turned vision, turned reality. I sang in chorus as a girl, both Middle & High School. Eventually my young mind began to take me places of which I gained notoriety in modeling, being featured in Bridal Guides, XXL & Black Men Magazine. This exposure opened more doors of which led me to hosting and TV. I briefly hosted a video show of which I introduced videos called "Splash TV" I'll never forget seeing myself on television for the first time, in fact it was about 15 TV's, as I was working in Walmart at the time. I was standing back in the electronic section when it came on. The excitement from peers immediately turned me into a starving artist. I wanted more! I took back to the stage where my talents were being groomed in acting & singing performing Stage Plays working with the likes of Raneli Productions & Powerhouse Productions. I had already wrote a few songs that I recorded with a friend named Tperk. A couple of my songs had been played on the radio from time to time, along side my drops due to the likes of DJ Jack of Spades on 103jamz . That rise of passion is something else, as every time I did something good it made me want something Greater. I had met a friend leaving the club out in P-Town, some may know it as Portsmouth VA home of Missy Elliot. Mustafa Ali was actually a road manager for a group named ''Sporty Thieves" he had been making connections with quite a few projects, Our initial connection was undeniable, it wasn't about music because at the time I was in a full fledge hustle and so was he. Eventually we began traveling up the 95N corridor to Baltimore MD some call it "Bmore" he called it home. One day we were in the car vibing, listening to Erykah Badu and I started singing, let's just say he liked what he heard as one of our first stops in town was to the Studio. He asked me what kind of tracks I like and I said, deep wavey, lol! although I had recorded before, we just called them beats. I literally had no idea how things worked, so he broke it all down and then he asked me what kind of song would I like to record first. Well, there was nothing I like more in Baltimore than there Bmore Club Music and jumbo lump crab cakes. So we teamed up with a producer by the name of, Debonair Samir and recorded my first Bmore Club song, "Supa Freak". At the time I didn't realize that the song had a life of it's own. This was the first song to show me how my music could transcend. Supa Freak's first stop was on the DTLR / Direct Drive record pool where it was heard by a mainstream of DJ's in the DMV Area. Eventually, it would be heard by a Spank Rock artist by the name of Amanda Blank, and she wanted on it! So then I learned quicky how "paperwork made the paper work!" copyright. The song Supa Freak then moves it's way up to a soundtrack on HBO movie, Life Support, starring Queen Latifah. A few years later it made it on yet another soundtrack for the New Line Cinema Film "Observe & Report", starring Seth Rogen. The success fueled my journey I began to write and I won't stop. Please don't say you knew that by reading my Bio! Oh yeah, and my friend became my manager, husband, and father of our 4 beautiful children. As our lives progressed on we decided to make the big move together from the east coast to the dirty south, not just for Atlanta or entertainment purposes, but for the betterment of our children. We got here and got busy building our new and improved lives. I would eventually began working with the State of GA , along side doing BG acting work on BET, HBO, CW, STARZ & others. I've also been featured BG, working with the likes of Gabrielle Union, in a scene playing the entourage of Cardi B. (Being Mary Jane). Being spotted as an extra isn't always likely, I came out of VA a theatre actress and a recording artist my chances of being seen have been likely. I've taken direction from the likes of, Tyler Perry, Lee Daniels, Salim & Mara Brock Akil (The Game) Lena Waithe (Boomerang) Katori Hall (P-Valley) and many others. I've learned so much from doing BG & stand in work. Most of all, I learned what it is to be SAG eligible. Next stop, "give me my lines and watch me takem" my fellow aspiring Actors know exactly what I mean. I will always keep a healthy balance with family, our business and my artistic talents as I make my mark in the Industry.
