O Fresh

O Fresh is a hip-hop artist from Houston, Texas. Originally born in Saudi Arabia to a Pakistani family, Omar Yousaf embraces his diverse background to manifest a unique identity within the genre of rap. He started off performing at slam poetry and open mic events throughout the city of Houston in high school. He became a DJ while attending the University of Texas at Austin and empowers his music with his background as a DJ and a lyrical MC. That sounded a little self-centered, huh? Well, truth is - I love embracing my roots and finding a way to blend all my interests & backgrounds together. I worked in corporate America out of college in 2015 and continued DJing but somewhere along my journey, I knew that I wanted to go back to making music (my first mixtape was in 2010), so I got together with some friends and released my "ReFresh" EPs in 2018 and 2019 (shout out to Slim Thug for being a part of We up to Something (feat. Slim Thug) ! We are getting new energy & releasing singles every month in 2020. You'll hear blends of Hip-Hop, Trap, EDM, Latin, R&B, & Bollywood in the songs we release with some amazing lyricism, so please follow us here and on social media to help our movement.
