XIA

Young and talented emerging versatile artist from Georgetown Guyana, South America. “XIA" (SHY-AH) started making music at just fourteen years old where she was able to find her sound that everyone loves and enjoy. She came from a talented family, following in the footsteps of her mother. With her fusion of Dancehall, Rnb, Rap and Afrobeats, she was able to gain a small following and support group. Her mission is to put her country on the map and pave a new way for the type of music she creates. XIAs' versatile sound, creativity and work ethic truly sets her apart from many other artists. From writing and producing her own music to releasing songs every other week showed her dedication and love for what she specializes in. "It was just me, my iPad and Apple headphones every chance I get" she points out. As a child growing up, she listened to numerous Christian artists where she was able to find some inspiration. Artists like Papa San, Stitchie, Jasan Mighty, Prodigal Son, Lecrae, Trip Lee, DJ Nicholas, Wande, Caleb Gordan and many more. As she fell in love with Afrobeats, Dancehall and Reggae she discovered Koffee, Chronixx, Tems, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Bob Marley, Richie Spice and more. However, XIA truly started to gain attraction after releasing her first Afrobeat Summer Single after a year called "Addicted to Love" as she continuously promotes it on social media.
