Born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana, Tri$tan is a young ambitious artist who’s rhythm, flow, and lyrics are unlike anything ever heard before. Smooth is the first word that comes to mind when describing Tri$tan’s talent. His voice, wordplay, and style makes him potentially a once in a generation type artist. Raised by a single mother of 6, that hunger arose from seeing his mother work day and night while his oldest brother raised all 5 kids. Not having his biological father in his life, Tri$ never let that bother him or feel less than others.. he often found comfort in competition. He obsessed over being the best at whatever he was doing. At age 11 after hearing his mom give a poem at his cousin’s funeral, he started writing poetry. Figuring that it could help him with channel his emotions, as if writing them down would help him understand why he feels how he feels.. that soon turned into him writing lyrics to YouTube instrumentals… The rest is history! “Rapping was instinctual! We use to do dance routines to songs before it was a thing! I’ve always been a entertainer. Because me and my brothers always knew it was a way out of here… If we had phones when we were younger??! Viral wouldn’t be a question!” Tri$ claims. Music has always played a huge part in his life… some of his biggest influences are J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye, Big Sean, Wale, Mac Miller to name a few. Those artists reflect heavily in his music, the passion, the artistry, the metaphors, THE HUNGER. “I’m not waiting for my opportunity anymore… I’m taking it!!!
