Prototype of real negro

Prototype Of Real Negro Presentation Prototype Of Real Negro If we define negro, as an individual of the bottom Then naturally things are going to fall on him and build up until he fights for his freedom. I was born and raised in the capital of Senegal west Africa. My father from Kolda southern region border Guinea Bissau and Guinea Conakry My grand father from my mom side was from Guinea both my parents met in The capital and started to build their family. Dakar as a melting pot capital not easy to make it, Gifted by God, I used to be great at any activities we used to perform as children in the streets. Soccer, wrestling ect… so I used to fight a lot every day. we used to bet over games our breakfast money that our parents give us on our way to school so we can buy food during launch break. So nobody wants to lose, there starts the hating. Dakar is a very beautiful place, the biggest community is “Lebou”, from “Lebou gui” which means “the counter”, at the shore everybody used to gather every day to trade food, the fisher boats each evening brings some fresh variety of fish. That used to be my outlets when I used to refuse to be at class, I used to hangout even in the evening to get some fish and sell it to the lady who fried fishes and sell them for dinner. We would buy some small anchors my friends and I, to try catch some fishes during the morning when we did not want to be at class. Then we would fight, I was the smallest so I would fight the most, my light skin never allowed me also to be totally free, because I’m Peul so in Senegal people refers Peul as guinean so you are going to be treated as a foreigner by your peers soon as you start winning. So, every time I’m about to win, something happens to jeopardize the glory. But I had hip hop, from my brothers, my big brothers who lived with me listening to rap, some comes from Sicap where PBS are the pioneers. My father even Know Dj Awadi, mentor of Xuman, who destiny ended up making him my mentor. Fun fact I used to be the little boy my father used to have with the artist during one of their tour with Marlboro and pbs to our Village in Kolda Senegal. I used to represent Gunman during the concert like I was him, I used to like Xuman verses during my childhood, He sound funnier but his message was intrigant and access to the female crowd. I was known by the whole country because of him, “Adja Mana” was the name of the track. We’ve met at Douta Seck in 2007 then we take it to the studio, back then I was with one of my big brother’s crew, at the house who raps, Father Mouss, our crew name was DRC5, with Douba Rap sérère safene, Fodé singer Soussou from Guinea Conakry I had the chance to visit his parents in Conakry when I went to perform in 2011. I gave them the cassette that we released and they have my picture at the back and my voice in the intro and outro. I used to love soccer I enjoy playing it in a good and green field with some nice people. That love of soccer got us closer along the journey with Tidiane, they even have a tv at their courthouse where people gather and watch the games and it’s always fun. Fodè was a good soccer player as well he had performed high level of navetane (summer time seasonal tournament). Same team with Tidiane. Karim toxico, Iba, Babylon all of them lived in kussum, and loved hip hop so we would gather smoking and freestyling at Iba rooftop across the street from my dad sewing workshop where I used to sleep at. We used to enjoy rapping, 5kiem underground released their album, when Simon came back from France and signed them with Sen kumpe Tigris B, bis bi clan the name of their group I admire them, I like Ibou Sene He gives people haircut. At Ama Diop’s family home ( Bourba Djolof Studio) late founder member of Sen Kumpeu the biggest studio recording we had access to in Medina, lot of artist coming from different erea gather there for recording or rehearsing needs. Was also a great asset to connect with artist and to track activities that occurring in the country. Lot of light and movement all kinds of energy around and I grew through that. At early age, doing all this stuff plus helping mom with her pastry business and my father as well for his Haute Couture Business. Things moves very fast. I was always outside because my father would have a lot of people from his village going to the industrial school within the neighborhood “Delafosse” which we lived nearby, or the university, my mom side also whoever from her family from Guinea is coming to our house. So, the men would be sent out to sleep in the sewing company, the girls at the house because we simply did not have enough room. So, I’m always outside, between spiritual parties outside where we chant or the house party with Gondy and Malick and them. But I was a rapper I could not grew up around nobody but my brothers that was into rap. So, I was their little boy and that toughened me. In that studio we went with Xuman during DRC5 means “Dakar Rap Community” 5 stands for values like “Courage, Dignity, Resilience, Love, credibility.”, LZ3 one of their members Daddy Eli gave me an MP3 of JayZ, that changed my life, I literally had lot of his album. To the blueprint 3, so I was a fan of his music that helped me to learn English. Then I had my crew with Kru, Def Rek, we had Mao who produced Nit Dof album from France so I had to snatched him right when I saw him after he came back from France in my neighborhood an afternoon I was setting right by my block, where he Grew up from. Our album never came out. I got Famous, I got sick, then i stopped performing, I when back to school and got married. Experience Betrayal, being pushed away… being putted down…! But the grace of the lord from the power of our spiritual leaders who fought for as to maintain our spirituality and religious beliefs helped my practice into the religion my family had me as to follow, and it works and still working for me helps me to unburden all the glitch from the evil eyes and get me closer to my original self, and attract the masses. I always be at Espace Medina, which is one of the houses in Medina that was put to availability for the people to express themselves and gather to find themselves by connecting through art and shelter people but most importantly welcomed people from everywhere in the world and feed the need in research and documentation. Rest in Heaven Ndoye Douts. So of course, all that energy and knowledge that we shared and stored is going to make me more valuable, my freedom of expression, charm and little fame, empowered by the skills gathered from the tv station (TFM) and the biggest national events I used to be part of the executive production team gave me all together with my rapping skills a higher standard in the people eyes. Being attractive in a neighborhood like Medina which can be considered as the capital of the capital Dakar, can be hard to control as a young emerging talent. So, I’m going to be a Boy Poulo. Photo took during JIDA BLADE Fashion brand (Outr’age) launching event. loved but also unwanted in the game at the same time lol. So, my vulnerability never stopped slowing my growth process down as an individual who wants to just live and thrive and share good energy. So, I named the album “Prototype Of Real Negro” meaning “Vulnerability” within around greatness. If you would introduce the idea of Negritude in another planet, I had the best background to reflect that Idea of unfair domination into society. From Africa to the USA, I always felt like I’m being dominated by something that I cannot see, and that’s not uplifting me, or something is missing that I don’t possess nor can produce. While being useful needed, and for most performant. The hope is high, the future seems bright but, I’m who I am, I never had it right and it’s okay if I don’t neither I’m already comfortable by being who I am. My defense mode has taken over my character, made me insensitive to a lot that life has to offer, the process of understanding and resisting in order to keep thriving into society that is not working in my favor is molding and shaping me, feeding my thought process, as Rebel, survivor, Hustler, warrior. With the age and the responsibility and the love I’m getting from my kids and my loved ones, now I’m at the bottom of it, which is our level zero, sensitivity that calls out emotions and send me to my original nature, which is LOVE.
