Based in the DMV area, Plain Jane brings a sound like no other. She was heavily influenced by some of the greats such as Erykah Badu, Lalah Hathaway, Moonchild, & Kendrick Lamar just to name a few. She uses her feelings & emotions to drive her songs to listening ears. Bringing a mixture of Hip Hop, Neo Soul, & some Techno feels, she innovates her own sound. She’s a reminder that real music indeed still exists & sticks to consistently being her own person. Sit back, light up, pour some wine, & enjoy the sounds.
