At just eight years old, Poiison began exploring instruments and sounds while attending church services with her mother. Inspired by her older sister, she discovered a natural talent for the drums. Her passion for music ignited early, but it didn’t stop there. In fifth grade, Poiison was amazed by the overwhelming response from the audience when she took the lead role in her school’s musical. As she continued to grow in her musical journey, Poiison built a dedicated fan base and even headlined her own tour. Her "You Could Die From This" tour sold out in two cities, fueling her passion even further. She also had the opportunity to open for rap icon 50 Cent, and has collaborated with industry heavyweights like Styles P, Sha Money XL, Cash Cobain, 2 Rare, and more. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of music legends—ranging from Madonna and Sade to Rick James, Lil Wayne, and Travis Scott—Poiison blends these diverse influences into a unique, captivating sound that stands out in today’s music scene.
