The artist PoLo. I was born in Eatonville and raised in Orlando, Florida. I started making music at the age of 13. I taught myself how to record on whatever system I had until I reached Protools & from there it was a uphill battle to the artist you see today. I grew up around music. My mother was a a singer in different clubs when she was younger. My Pops was a Dj & a dancer who won a lot of trophies in various contest. I picked up writing very young, but it wasn't until my freshman year of high school when I recorded my first record on a stick microphone & a desktop computer. Artist such as 2Pac, Nas, T.I. Lil Wayne to T-Pain inspired me & taught me how to create songs with structure. I’m different from other independent artists because im not portraying a life that I don't live, let alone come from. Ever since I started music, it’s been my motto to never speak on things that I don't do or know anything about. My hope is for people to enjoy my music and take something from it that they can apply to their life.
