PUERTO ROCKS' BIO
From the likes of Quincy Jones & artist Tevin Cambell to Dr. Dre, there has always been an energy that everyone had to tap into. Puerto Rock, an American/Puerto Rican, was raised in the gritty streets of Spanish Harlem in the early '70s, The only son of his father, Poppa Puerto with also only one daughter, Momma Puerto on the other hand gave him 3 siblings, 2 brothers, eldest, Killa who played the most important role in Puerto Rock's life. R.I.P (Candido "Candyman") and one sister. This young man is destined to make a mark in the hip-hop culture. Breakdancing at age 8, (Eunitricity, Utica Ny) making the town news to touring the tri-state area, performing at malls and venues such as Chucky Cheese, JC Penny, State buildings, to Dj's and rapping just a few years later at age 11, (Harlem NY). He rose from doing park jams in NYC with his cousin Dj Bobby Blue (Manhattan Sounds) to the Apollo stage with one of his close friends R.I.P Black Rob.
Not only did Puerto Rock become a part of the hip-hop community, but to be the anchor in his family was key to his survival. Offered a record deal at just the age of 14, was a remarkable feat on its own, but to land a major record deal all by himself. Rock Candy Records/B-Boy Records by the CEO Bill Kamara. Puerto Rock is said to have been one of the first to attempt Spanish Rap in the mid-'80s, unfortunately, Puerto Rock had other involvements that he had no other choice to be a part of. DRUGS, selling drugs at the age of 12yrs old led Puerto Rock down a path of time lost.

Puerto Rocks Road to the riches was a mere approach to reaching the "American Dream", which only lead to more time in prison. Being done with going in and out of the system for nearly 10 years of his life. 24-year-old Puerto Rock refused to lose. Relocated from NY to NC charlotte to live with his older bro Killa.
