R&B Vocalist and Songwriter “Résa”, born Theresa Jones earned her stripes early on by writing and referencing tracks for Babyface, Dani Leigh, Ty Dolla $ign, Coco Jones, Enchanting and more. Her pen paints a picture of inner emotions, introverted thoughts and not feeling valued or heard. Born in Fort Lauderdale but raised in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Résa's singing journey began at the age of two. Her father would make her sing during family gatherings or candidly to show off her exceptionally gifted voice. Hearing classic melodies in the background of her home, Résa grew up inspired by Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Ashanti and Rihanna to name a few. After graduating high school, she decided to pursue her music career full-time. With the support of her family and friends Résa started performing live covers/remakes via social media which resulted in a few viral moments causing a buzz worthy audience to emerge. As Résa prepares to release new music, she hopes her audience will know that they're not alone, that a lot of her experiences in life have similarities to theirs and their voices can finally be heard.
